NAHS Key Club Service Projects

PictureSalvation Army Bell Ringing

Key Clubbers rang bells at the local Kroger to collect donations for the Salvation Army. It was an excellent opportunity to spread the spirit of giving!

2016-2017
Enjoy our photo gallery of service projects from the 2016-2017 school year! NAHS Key Club has done many projects, and these are just a few of them. To our members: we thank you all for your time and effort. You are truly appreciated.
PictureSalvation Army Christmas Cheer

Our Key Clubbers helped make this Christmas a memorable one for families in need! They assembled boxes, decorated the center, sorted food and toys, filled food boxes, checked in families, gave out food and toys, and assisted clients to their cars. This was the first year that our club helped out with this project, and we are glad we participated!

PictureThank You Breakfast
We hosted a pancake breakfast to thank our amazing members! Without their time, effort, and devotion, our club would not be able to promote the spirit of service that we strive to spread. Thank you all for your willingness to give back to the community!

Ronald McDonald House Charity
Our members went to the Ronald McDonald House, where they prepared meals for those in need, serve those meals, and cleaned up afterwards.

PictureT Shirt Dog Toys

At one of our Friday morning meetings, our members made dog toys out of old t shirts. All dog toys were donated to a local animal shelter.

Key Clubbers made no sew blankets for people in need during this cold winter! Each blanket had a unique design and was made out of fleece.

PictureTrick or Treat for UNICEF

On the night of Halloween, Key Clubbers trick or treated for UNICEF donations--not candy! All money was given to UNICEF's Eliminate cause, which aims to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus in mothers living in third world countries. We raised $1545 in total!

PictureCar Smash

At the entrance to the football stadium, our Key Clubbers let everyone take a swing at a car with a sledge hammer for $1! All money went towards cancer research. We raised over $700!

Fall Rally 2016
At Fall Rally, we met Key Clubbers from across the district (including our Governor), participated in service projects, and learned more about the organization and our partners (like UNICEF) through forums! It was an excellent opportunity to establish new connections with other clubs.

First Farmers Market
Key Club members met up at 3 in the afternoon to set up a booth at the NA Farmers market. From 4-7 members promoted the upcoming car wash for UNICEF, sold baked goods made by members, and accepted donations.

Car Wash Fundraiser
We ran a Car Wash and bake sale in front of the school's track for UNICEF’s ELIMINATE. In total, we raised over $600 and saved 350+ lives.

PictureTouch a Truck

At the 2016 Touch-a-Truck event, there were various types of trucks displayed for young kids to climb in and take pictures. Our Key Clubbers made many kids happy!
